The Vilalba-based company signs an agreement with CIFP Ferrolterra to participate in two higher vocational training cycles.

Dual Vocational Training is a recently implemented concept in the field of vocational training in Galicia. It combines education in training centres with comprehensive and extensive internships in companies, focusing on practical and realistic preparation, with high chances of finding employment. In this way, students can master the various tasks involved in the production process, with confidence and professionalism.

Tecnorenova offers in-company training for 15 students on two advanced courses: The Advanced Course in Renewable Energy and the Advanced Course in Industrial Mechatronics.

These courses are completed over two academic years. In each year, the first half is devoted to training at the centre and the second half to practical training with Tecnorenova.

Covid-19

The first cohort of these courses began in September 2019. Although according to the schedule they should have started their internships in February 2020, this had to be postponed until September of the same year. They will continue their internships with us until January 2021. After a further six months of theoretical training, they will complete their studies and become the first cohort of professionals to be trained through this initiative.
