In 2021, 77 V1363.45 wind turbines were assembled by Tecnorenova at the Malleco Wind Farm, in La Araucanía region. The Maleco wind farm is one of the most powerful wind farms in Chile and one of the largest in South America.
The V136-3.45 MW combines advanced aerodynamic design, a 4 MW nacelle and the Large Diameter Steel Tower (LDST) technology, so as to deliver high and efficient power output in low to medium wind conditions.
The aerodynamic design of the 66.7 meter long blades, allows an increase of 16% in annual energy production while minimizing structural loads.
